Mining history at the Schneeberg

4th July

Special guided tour with Armin Torggler

This special guided tour combines natural and cultural landscapes with the eventful history of mining on the Schneeberg. During the hike from Passeier via Seemoos up to St. Martin am Schneeberg, participants learn more about centuries of ore extraction, life in Europe’s highest miners’ village, and everyday life in a remote mining settlement at an altitude of 2,355 meters.
