Spring invites us to experience new adventures and to rediscover the world above and below ground! On 6 April, the South Tyrol Mining Museum will once again open the doors of its locations in Ridnaun, Steinhaus and Prettau and is looking forward to going on daring explorations with you.
Numerous experiences await you in the 2023 museum season at the STMM. Take a trip through the old mining tunnels in Prettau on the mine train, walk in the footsteps of the miners on the guided tour of Steinhaus, or experience the technology of industrial mining at the Ridnaun site: everyone will find the right adventure at the STMM!
This year we are blowing out birthday candles at two of our sites: the Ridnaun site is celebrating its 30th anniversary and the climate tunnel at the Prettau site is 20 years old.
